The territory called Severozapad (Northwest) comprises the three provinces where we mainly operate.
A territory rich in history, Montanesium was one of the fortresses that defended the Limes, the Roman frontier on the Danube.
The city of Montana has 49,368 inhabitants and is 160 meters above sea level. It is located on the Ogosta River, right next to the dam of the same name. It is 113 km north of Sofia, 24 km northeast of Berkovitsa, 102 km southeast of Vidin, 41 km northwest of Vratsa, and 49 km south of Lom. Montana is the largest transportation hub in Northwestern Bulgaria.
